22nd December, my birthday, and a wonderful surprise.

Birthdays are celebrated only once a year. It is said that it is supposed to provide enough happiness to a person to last throughout the whole year. While I am highly skeptical, indeed to the point of disbelief, that any one source of happiness can last for 365.25 days, I do believe, however, that the happiness I've felt today is more than the combined happiness I've had over the course of the year.

That being said, I wanna give a special shout out and thanks to Isaiah Tan, Glenn Chan, Jasmine Chong, Jia Lin, Jia En, Caleb, my dearest and best friends for letting me have another unforgettable birthday this year. Indeed, I feel like I haven't done enough for any one of you. Really, I was speechless. I saw hints that something was happening, but not something of that extent. Yew Keong, too bad you weren't here. =(

Like at the MHS prom, I saw a twinkle in Jasmine's eye as she said, "Your birthday is coming soon, isn't it?". I appreciate the effort you guys put in, but I honestly think Isaiah was the main mastermind behind it. Still, even Jia En managed to trick me when he said he went to Genting with his friends... to the point when one of his friends even asked me to join them. And I can't believe Isaiah was playing basketball WITHOUT ME :(.

Of course, I can't forget Nuffins :D as well, particularly those that came down to Melaka and pre-celebrated with me earlier (Stephen, Sharon, Kuo Cheng, Michelle, Michelle, Kelvin, Yong, Simon, Pei Li). We have our differences, but so far that hasn't stopped us from getting to where we are now, and I hope it won't be an obstacle to tall for us to scale together.

I've never been wrong in choosing my friends all this while, and I strongly believe, and hope, that I still, and will, stand uncorrected for now and forever. I know it takes effort, and it's effort I'm willing to put in.

It's 12:01am now; my birthday has officially passed. I would like to thank everyone for their well wishes and thoughts. Your words really mean a lot to me. Honestly, I was smiling as I replied to each and every one of them. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Watching a meteor shower

With the usual gang, however, I didn't get to see anything, sadly. Ah well, it was fun playing a "murderer"-esque game all night. Haha. Mafia, doctor and spy.

Showing my friends around Melaka

For 3days and 2 nights, Sharon, Stephen, Michelle, Michelle, Kelvin, Pei Li, and Yong came to Melaka for a holiday. They stayed at Kuo Cheng's house because it was empty. Over the weekend, I actually went to places even I had never gone to before, mainly because it was too crowded and my family was too lazy. But in this case, I drove there anyways, and yes, it was damn crowded. But it was worth it I guess.

And just like whooooop, the trip was over and I followed them back to my campus. Hardly slept at all over the past few days... gotta catch up. Good night!
